Batches
A batch is a group of plants of one cultivar that move through the growth stages together.
Propagation
Section titled “Propagation”Most batches begin with cuttings from a mother plant. Record the number of cuttings, link them to the mother’s cultivar, and assign them to a batch. Batches can also start from seeds (pre-soak, germinate, plant seedlings) or from plants or seeds received from a supplier.
Vegetative stage
Section titled “Vegetative stage”As cuttings root, transition them to the vegetative stage and move them to a veg room; the batch’s location updates with the move. Record every plant destroyed (culled, diseased, dead) so the count of living plants stays accurate.
Flowering stage
Section titled “Flowering stage”Transition the batch to flowering, usually with a move to a flower room. HyCultivate tracks the days spent in flowering.
Waste and destruction
Section titled “Waste and destruction”Whenever a plant dies or is culled, record a destruction against the batch with the number of plants, the reason (for example pathogen, pest, male plant) and the date. The difference between the starting count and the harvested count is then explained by the record.
See the command reference for every batch command.
